A BUMP IN THE ROAD

A Bump in the Road is an organization based in Durango, CO that provides support, education, and resources for women traveling the path of parenthood. A Bump in the Road welcomes expectant mothers, new mothers, and women considering having children.

Thanks for finding us! I’m glad you are reaching out to find support during this oh so exciting (and overwhelming) time!  When I was 10 weeks pregnant I decided I needed to be around other women who were going through this same experience. Perhaps just like you are doing now.  When I tried to find a support group for pregnant women in Durango, I found that no such group existed! So, with the support of my husband, I decided I would start one.  I knew if I was searching for such a group, other women had to be as well! Thus, the birth of  A Bump in the Road.  I invite you to A Bump in the Road.  Meet other women who are on the same journey and share your experience. You’ll find it makes your pregnancy that much more rewarding!  Not to mention- time seems to go by so much faster when you’re not going through pregnancy alone.

A Bump in the Road now offers:

Prenatal Support Group on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the Month at 6p

Postpartum Support Group on the 3rd Wednesday of the Month at 6p, and

Healthy Mommas, Happy Babies- Fitness Group for Moms- Thursdays at 11a.

Women are welcome to participate in any and all meetings no matter what stage of pregnancy they are in!

A Bump in the Road meets at Liv MacKenzie Counseling at 766 Main Ave. Suite 201.  Behind and on top of Seasons Restaurant. Enter from the Alley!
